Lead the design of cutting-edge approaches and solutions by leveraging broad knowledge, best practices, and benchmarking assessments. Assist in the sales process by visiting prospective or existing clients to develop the scope of work, operational planning, and opportunity assessment. Evaluate, design, and implement new layouts, including storage racks, conveyors, automation, and other material handling solutions for facilities. Present tangible results to management and clients regarding improvements or savings achieved in operations. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to help ensure the ongoing optimization of processes and create a sustainable and lean organization. Integrate subject matter expertise with industry experience, relevant related disciplines, program/process design principles, and business objectives and strategy. Lead teams or individuals in project work to help clients and operators achieve sustainable results. Lead multiple industrial engineering projects with minimal supervision. Manage projects and program execution of low to moderate complexity. Reengineer current solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement. Analyze ambiguous problems using demonstrated mastery of lean tools such as VSM, standard work, Six Sigma, 5S, and other lean tools. Break down complex information in a systematic and communicable manner. Perform statistical analysis and understand how and when to apply it based on the specific situation and needs. Lead Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other Lean events. Perform any other duties deemed appropriate and inherent to the position by the immediate supervisor.
