This is a direct hire role offering a full benefits package upon joining the team. Core Functions The Process Technician plays a vital role in enhancing manufacturing performance by focusing on safety, quality, and operational efficiency. By working closely with both engineering and operations departments, this individual helps resolve production challenges, drives continuous improvement, and fosters clear communication throughout the manufacturing floor. Identify and pursue opportunities to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and lower defect rates to improve overall output. Deliver technical and engineering assistance to various manufacturing work centers. Maintain accurate records regarding equipment history, maintenance logs, production capacity, and ongoing process improvements. Help create and assess manufacturing procedures, labor standards, and systems for analyzing costs and scrap. Contribute to lean manufacturing projects to help implement and sustain long-term operational improvements. Support quality control goals by resolving production issues to enhance product reliability and decrease operational expenses. Partner with cross-functional teams on Kaizen projects to identify needs, execute solutions, and track performance outcomes. Analyze production schedules, technical documentation, and work orders to gain a thorough understanding of manufacturing methods. Assess technical requirements and cost factors related to design and process objectives. Complete other duties as required by the team. Work Location and Schedule This position is based in Grand Rapids, MI, with openings available on both 1st and 2nd shifts. 1st
