Part-time employment (20+hrs/week) for 6-months also qualifies.

Engineering Co-Op SummarySupport production team with meeting expected production schedules and material quality while controlling plant costs. Must be able to relate to all personnel both hourly and salaried to promote a cooperative interactive relationship with all team members.

Essential FunctionsSupporting the Production team with training initiatives (safety, quality, and operation) for hourly production employeesPromote proper housekeeping and ensure all work areas are clean, maintained, and safe at all times.

Make necessary production system transactions.

Responsible for tracking and supporting cost reduction efforts.

Assist in analyzing production data for establishing and documenting tasksProvides support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.

Assist with Production Operation department duties.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional ResponsibilitiesWork with Production team to prepare, coordinate and maintain schedules for Production schedules.

Work with operations to meet department goals.
