This role works closely with production, manufacturing, and logistics teams to optimize labor, equipment, material flow, and facility utilization. Responsibilities
- Conduct time studies and establish labor standards.
- Perform line balancing to improve productivity and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain capacity plans for labor, equipment, and production lines.
- Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize man and machine utilization to maximize efficiency.
- Analyze and improve material flow and line-side part presentation.
- Develop and implement floor space and facility layout improvements.
- Support manufacturing launches, process improvements, and productivity projects.
- Identify waste and implement Lean Manufacturing principles to improve performance.
- Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with: o Time Studies o Line Balancing o Capacity Planning o Kaizen and Continuous Improvement o Labor and Machine Optimization o Material Flow and Line-Side Part Presentation o Floor Space and Layout Optimization
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience supporting manufacturing launches and process development activities.
