Industrial Engineering Associate

Position Description:

Participate in the pursuit of new business by coordinating manufacturing inputs for proposal developmentActivities include estimating direct labor, estimating equipment and tooling, generating persuasive rational to support pricing and participates directly in the negotiation process with the customerDevelop and analyze manufacturing labor tracking, monitor performance and coordinate corrective actions when requiredProvide contractual reporting as required for performance metricsCoordinate with internal and external customersLeverage Power BI for data visualization and reporting to support decision-makingUtilize internal AI-driven tools and programming to enhance forecasting, data analysis, and process automationInterface across all levels of leadership by reporting on new business opportunities and explaining basis of estimateOccasional travel to our manufacturing plants

Position Requirements:

BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Engineering Technology or similar degreeMinimum of 1 to 3 years of experienceHigh degree of P/C skills required to include PowerPoint and ExcelHigh attention to detail and noticing discrepanciesMust have the ability to move freely and feel comfortable in a manufacturing plantExperience working with tight timelines, manufacturing plants, and different business unitsOccasional Travel to our manufacturing plantsMust be authorized to work in the US General Dynamics Land Systems is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
