opening for a Supplier Quality Engineer. Direct-hire position with competitive benefits -includes profit sharing, 401K match, generous PTO, health/dental, and more!
Duties:
Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance processes Analyze quality performance data, conduct regular supplier audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and supplier performance Utilize process automation and data management tools (Power BI, Power Automate) to modernize quality workflows, improve data visibility, and streamline supply chain management Ensure products and materials from external suppliers meet the company's quality standards Certify compliance with industry standards and regulations while contributing to the delivery of high-quality products to customers Communicate daily with suppliers (verbal and via email) Reviewing mechanical blueprints On occasion, support the quality department with measurements/inspections, creating inspection sheets/quality plans, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline preferred (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) 1+ year of experience developing, implementing, and coordinating quality plans Experience developing and implementing supplier quality processes Recent experience or training with data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar Familiarity with workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate, Zapier, or similar, a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints Familiarity working with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software a plus Strong Microsoft Excel experience Experience working in a low volume, high mix environment a plus Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion Ability to pass a drug test
Salary:
$80-105K
