IMMEDIATE
opening for a Supplier Quality Engineer. Direct-hire position with competitive benefits -includes profit sharing, 401K match, generous PTO, health/dental, and more!
Duties:
Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance processes within a high-mix, low-volume machining environment Analyze quality performance data, conduct regular supplier audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and supplier performance Ensure products and materials from external suppliers meet the company's quality standards Certify compliance with industry standards and regulations while contributing to the delivery of high-quality products to customers Communicate daily with suppliers (verbal and via email) Reviewing mechanical blueprints On occasion, support the quality department with measurements/inspections, creating inspection sheets/quality plans, etc. Help utilize process automation and data management tools (Power BI, Power Automate) to modernize quality workflows, improve data visibility, and streamline supply chain management
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline preferred (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.) 0-7 years of post-graduate experience Experience working in a machine shop / manufacturing environment (will consider applicable internship experience) Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints Experience developing, implementing, and coordinating supplier quality processes a plus Experience or training with data analysis and tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Tableau, or similar, a plus Familiarity working with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software a plus Strong Microsoft Excel experience Ability to pass a drug test Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Salary:
$75-100K
