job summary: A growing Industrial Engineering Solutions company is looking for their next Industrial Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity located in the Minneapolis MN area. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of controls experience with a Electrical Engineering background. This person will be able to pick out components in a venders manual, put it on a schematic and communicate that information clearly to other team members involved in the project. Travel for this position will be around 50% traveling to client sites for equiptment installations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required. 10 years of controls engineering or related experience, industrial settings preferred.

Saint Paul, Minnesota job type: Permanent salary: $120,000 - 140,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Design cost-effective control systems for custom machinery; including hardware design, programming, safety analysis, and technical documentation. Supervise and assist electrical subcontractors in the integration of cost-effective electrical guarding for customer machinery from initial concept and fabrication drawings to installation and customer review and sign-off. Identify technical challenges and seek creative solutions by drawing on available resources. Understand project requirements and ensure that all documents are complete, organized and understood by the project team, including subcontractors. Assist with qualifying vendors and procuring machine guarding components for projects through a vetting and bidding process.
