Full Job Description Position Description:
What You'll Do Technical Mastery Master process design fundamentals while developing comprehensive project understanding. Provide peer review of deliverables and mentor junior engineers in technical skill development. Client Leadership Interact regularly with clients to provide guidance on project development and improvement opportunities. Work directly with operations staff to identify optimization and engineering solutions. Project Excellence Review detailed designs for technical accuracy and code compliance while participating in project coordination meetings. Support project teams across multiple disciplines. Special Focus - Flaremaster Resolve PSV issues and problems for process team members Utilize PSV design software and AspenTech HYSYS expertise Apply Process Safety Management and Management of Change systems Implement

What You Bring Must-Have Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in
Chemical Engineering Experience:
3-15 years professional experience (Oil & Gas preferred)
Industry:
Multiple refinery process operations familiarity required
Technical Skills:
PSV sizing, scenario reviews, overpressure mitigation
Software:
iPRSM, process safety reviews, layer of protection analysis
Certifications:
PE preferred, TWIC card capability required Essential Requirements Oil refining experience Project management and reporting tools proficiency Strong communication skills with internal and external teams Understanding of refinery project phases from front-end to detailed design Ability to estimate, schedule, and develop project scope Preferred Qualifications Experience in utilities, pipeline, and product terminals Travel capability for remote assignments Overtime flexibility as required What We Offer Technical Leadership Take on complex design challenges while guiding junior team members and driving project success. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to sit/stand, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time. Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer entry and answering calls. Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching. Must be able to lift 15 lbs if necessary. Visual acuity sufficient for reading documents, computer screens, and technical materials. Ability to communicate effectively verbally in-person, by phone, and via video conferencing. Hearing ability adequate for meetings, presentations, and collaboration. Ability to concentrate and maintain attention for extended periods while managing multiple priorities. Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as business needs require. Able to travel to job sites (local and/or remote) as project needs require. Able to work in heavy industrial environments while wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, fire-retardant clothing, gloves, etc.). Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on elevated surfaces. Able to walk on uneven terrain and surfaces. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and industrial environments during site visits.
