Job Description

Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of this role is leading planning and problem-solving efforts in pre-production trial activity. Utilizing and improving systems & procedures for efficient and effective issue identification, root cause analysis, issue resolution, reoccurrence prevention / kaizen to subsequent activity and projects, and project management of trials.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or similar technical field 3+ years of equivalent Engineering role experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in manufacturing production preparation role and schedule/deliverable management including stages of project plan, process/equipment plan, specification & procurement, installation and trial. Experience in winding, cell assembly & electrolyte fill on automotive cells (2+ years, 5+ years Preferred) Experience in battery cell product, processes/equipment, and/or trial activity. Experience in activity of Ryohin Joken identification, application, and/or confirmation. Experience coordinating with varied functions in large corporate organization, including production engineering, manufacturing, research & development, and Quality, or similar, and reporting out to senior leadership level. Experience in interpreting & applying product/process specification, drawing and data, etc. including new material introduction and validation and change point management and confirmation.
Pay:
$60.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
