Description and Requirements Join Lenovo's NCSC Whitsett Site as an Industrial Engineer supporting manufacturing operations and process improvement. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with engineering and production teams, analyze current processes, and help improve how work is performed across the campus. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, including CPT or OPT.Key Responsibilities Process Optimization:
Streamlining workflows and performing time and motion studies to reduce bottlenecks.Supply Chain & Logistics:
Designing efficient facility layouts and managing inventory to cut transportation and storage costs.Quality Control:
Implementing methodologies (like Six Sigma or Lean) to ensure products and services meet strict industry standards.Ergonomics & Safety:
Designing workstations and processes that prevent worker injury and improve overall workplace Basic Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, production engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Experience or coursework involving data analysis. Familiarity with AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Familiarity with data-analysis tools, such as SQL, Python, R, or Minitab. Ability to work onsite at the NCSC Whitsett site Monday through Friday. Ability to provide occasional overtime or weekend support. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with project-management practices.
