Back Supplier Quality Engineer II Quality Control Merrimack , New Hampshire Temp to Perm Per Hour May 19, 2026 $45.00 - $58 Our Merrimack, NH client is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer II to join their team on a contract-to-permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in regulated manufacturing environments and supplier quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
- Perform product and process risk assessments with internal teams and external partners
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical requirements
- Support supplier qualification, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams within integrated enterprise systems
- Participate in occasional travel to supplier or customer sites as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience working in a regulated/controlled environment
- Strong understanding of supplier quality processes and vendor management
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with enterprise-wide systems integration including PLM, MRP, MES, and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Certifications:
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Lead Auditor Certification
- ISO 9001 and/or
