Packaging Engineer

Packaging engineering professional responsible for commercialization, package development, material qualification, and specification support for consumer goods product launches. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Sciences 5-10+ years of packaging engineering experience Consumer goods packaging experience Experience with packaging commercialization Experience with primary through tertiary packaging development for new product launches Experience coordinating and completing qualification for new package designs and materials Experience developing component specifications Working knowledge of packaging materials and converting methods, including corrugated containers, folding cartons, plastic bottles, flexible packaging, thermoformed packaging, and injection molding Preferred Skills Experience supporting end-to-end packaging development for product launches Experience working across multiple packaging formats and material types Job Responsibilities Lead packaging commercialization activities for consumer goods product launches Develop primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging solutions Coordinate qualification of new package designs and materials Develop and maintain component specifications Support packaging material selection and converting method decisions Contribute technical expertise across corrugated, folding carton, plastic bottle, flexible, thermoformed, and injection molded packaging applications

Pay:
