Employment Type:
3-4 month contract with potential conversion to full-time
Pay Rate:
$80•100/hour W2

Innovar Group is hiring a Supplier Quality Manager•Mission Critical Equipment to support a large-scale construction and commissioning environment in the Santa Teresa / El Paso area. This role will serve as the key liaison between project teams and equipment manufacturers to ensure critical MEP equipment is built, inspected, documented, and delivered to quality standards before it reaches the jobsite. This is a strong opportunity for a senior supplier quality professional who understands complex industrial equipment, root-cause analysis, supplier accountability, and the importance of catching issues early in a fast-moving project environment. What You'll Do Serve as the quality liaison between project stakeholders, vendors, manufacturers, and equipment suppliers. Perform supplier quality audits, inspections, and quality reviews. Investigate equipment defects, damage, recurring failures, and supplier-related quality concerns. Analyze breakage trends, failure patterns, and non-conformance issues. Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Review and track Non-Conformance Reports and supplier quality documentation. Partner with manufacturers and vendors to resolve quality issues before equipment reaches the jobsite. Track supplier performance metrics and escalate recurring concerns. Support factory inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing when required. Work closely with construction, commissioning, procurement, and project teams to reduce equipment failures and schedule impacts. Help drive accountability, documentation, and quality improvements across the supplier base. What We're Looking For 10+ years of experience in supplier quality, QA/QC, manufacturing quality, or related industrial quality roles. Experience with mission-critical equipment, industrial equipment, electrical equipment, heavy infrastructure, or complex manufacturing environments. Strong root-cause analysis and corrective-action experience. Familiarity with critical MEP equipment such as switchgear, generators, transformers, UPS systems, chillers, cooling equipment, or similar systems. Experience reviewing NCRs, supplier performance, inspections, audits, quality trends, and documentation. Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with manufacturers, vendors, and project teams. Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment. Ability to work onsite in the Santa Teresa / El Paso area. Nice to Have Data center or mission-critical construction experience. Experience supporting factory inspections or FATs. Experience working with commissioning teams. Background supporting large-scale construction, utility, power, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
