Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Foundry Main Entrance and Engineer to oversee the entry point operations and ensure seamless manufacturing processes within our industrial facility. This role combines the responsibilities of managing access control at the facility's main entrance with hands-on engineering duties related to foundry operations, process optimization, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, contributing to a high-performance manufacturing environment that emphasizes quality and innovation. Duties Manage and monitor the main entrance of the manufacturing facility, authorizing access for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while maintaining strict security protocols. Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment such as CNC machines, robotic welding systems, and vision inspection systems to maintain optimal production flow. Collaborate with process engineering teams to develop and implement improvements in plastics injection molding, assembly line workflows, and fabrication processes. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and Schematics to design or modify tooling, fixtures, or process layouts for manufacturing efficiency. Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robot programming systems, CNC programming, CAM programming, and vision inspection systems to enhance automation capabilities. Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures or process deviations to identify corrective actions that support lean manufacturing principles. Support factory experience initiatives by applying industrial engineering techniques such as process mapping, continuous improvement methodologies, and
ISO 9001
standards compliance. Assist in mechanical assembly tasks involving welding, fabrication, tooling setup, or mechanical knowledge applications within the manufacturing facility. Experience Proven experience working within a manufacturing or foundry environment with a focus on process engineering or industrial equipment maintenance. Demonstrated ability in project scheduling to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently across different departments. Strong background in plastics injection molding processes along with familiarity with robotics and automation systems used in manufacturing settings. Skilled in CAD tools including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Schematics; experience with CAD design is highly desirable. Hands-on experience programming PLCs, robots (robot programming), CNC machines (CNC programming), CAM programming, and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of industrial engineering principles such as process optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, Lean manufacturing practices, and
ISO 9001
standards. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly lines, fabrication techniques, tooling design, mechanical engineering concepts, and industrial equipment maintenance. Familiarity with factory safety protocols and ability to perform root cause analysis for operational issues. Prior factory experience in a fast-paced environment with exposure to welding processes or industrial fabrication is preferred.
