The Senior Process Engineer - CPG is responsible for developing and optimizing end to end manufacturing processes for custom product offerings, from frontend engineering through production and shipment. This role leads continuous improvement initiatives across software, automation, equipment, and data systems to improve quality, throughput, and operational efficiency across multiple facilities.Objectives:
Develop and document process flows for new and future custom product offerings, spanning frontend engineering, production, and finished goods shipping. Support production personnel through guidance on equipment operation and maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to assigned equipment operators. Provide technical support for inquiries from sales and customer service teams related to manufacturing processes and capabilities. Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance automation and data management services.Responsibilities:
Initiate and lead frontend and production continuous improvement initiatives involving data management systems, software automation, production equipment, and related processes at the Cleveland and Cincinnati facilities. Establish, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing processes. Analyze and improve frontend and production processes and systems to improve KPIs Maintain a strong understanding of current software capabilities and key system features; evaluate and recommend new software or technologies to improve quality and throughput in graphics and fabrication through automation.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, a related field, or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree or certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or QRM preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive and results driven approach and experience in process design and improvement. Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decision making. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within specified timelines and budgets. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
