In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing and improving machining processes to drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across production operations. What you will do Develop and optimize machining processes for new and existing products (CNC Turning, Milling, Drilling and Grinding, etc.) Design and implement robust process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (COPs) Select and validate cutting tools, fixtures, and equipment to ensure repeatability and high performance Conduct time studies, capability studies, and root cause analysis to improve process efficiency and reduce scrap Support new product introduction (NPIs) by collaborating with product development, quality and production teams to ensure manufacturability Evaluate and implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen) Troubleshoot machining issues and provide t4echnical support to production teams Work closely with suppliers and tool vendors for process validation and optimization Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions when necessary Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned What you will bring Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or equivalent field or 5+ years of relevant CNC Machining experience Strong project management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint GD&T standards preferred Hands-on experience with CNC machines (e.g. Emag, Okuma, Mazak, Kuka controllers) Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and tolerance stack-ups Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools Experience with CAD/CAM recommended SPS basic knowledge What is in it for you?
