Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide project management and technical support for packaging operations at a new site. Our team relies on advanced engineering principles to deliver robust solutions for pharmaceutical product packaging and ensure regulatory compliance across multifaceted projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead project management for entry-level engineers and contingent workers, overseeing the planning and execution of complex packaging projects. Evaluate, recommend, and select new secondary packaging materials for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compatibility with manufacturing equipment and processes. Write test protocols, conduct technical evaluations, and submit assessment reports to support the use of selected materials and specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate technology transfer, maintain cGMP compliance, and drive pre-commercial and commercial packaging activities.

Required:

Doctorate degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field; or Master's degree in a similar discipline and 5 years of packaging engineering experience; or Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience. Strong technical communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and excel in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Demonstrated project management experience supporting the implementation of commercial packaging configurations using industry-standard tools and methodologies. Proficiency in assessing and solving complex problems related to materials, packaging operations, and regulatory requirements, with flexibility to adapt to changing environments and shift work as needed.
