Estimate labor, assembly fixtures cost, material movement cost and material presentation costs. Lead manufacturing system design workshops and document savings or improvements from the workshop. Design, quote and build assembly equipment, material movement and material presentation for production. Install assembly fixtures, material movement carts and material presentation at or below the award of business pricing. Develop lean layouts and material flow for efficient operations. Develop operator instructions for assigned programs. Train production employees for start-up and ramp-up. Support the assigned PDT to drive lean processes. Conduct ergonomic assessments of the manufacturing process including material movement. Support North American plants in their cost savings projects.
