Your Role:

The Production Design Engineer at the Allentown PA site will be responsible for evaluating and designing complex and unique solutions for high-purity specialty gas and chemical delivery systems. This role involves executing product configurations that meet safety and functional requirements while supporting the technical needs of the front office and commercial teams.

Job duties include:

Develop and implement configured-to-order (CTO) designs, adhering to a modular design philosophy to enhance flexibility and efficiency in product offerings. Develop and implement improvement plans aimed at cost reduction and enhancing operational efficiency, utilizing automation tools to streamline processes and increasing front-office productivity. Configure and process customized equipment orders to meet customer requirements while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Create and maintain product documentation, including bill of materials, specifications, and schematics suitable for manufacturing and customer use. Support the sales organization by providing scope and pricing guidelines for engineered-to-order and non-standard equipment configurations.
