Role Summary:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Project Engineer is responsible for supporting all projects for RPS Production. This person in this role will be RPS's main point of contact with Engineering and Project Controls for the project.
Exciting work you will do:
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Production Project Engineer will consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Review contracts and terms & conditions to ensure project execution is in compliance
Utilize the RPS project management tools as required to execute projects from start to finish
Ensure project milestones are executed per the project schedule
Schedule and lead project meetings and report project production status
Communicate production issues to proper discipline for timely resolution and review with production management
Provide regular and accurate reporting of project progress and completion milestones and report to production management
Coordinate execution of project change orders
Support proactive change management process
Manage multiple projects at the same time
Provide guidance to production team members and establish an execution framework to ensure the quality, value, and timeliness of the total project execution
Monitor material requirement reports to ensure timely execution of production schedule
Represent the company at all times in a positive manner

What you'll need:
Work Experience:
3 years' experience in a production environment
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
Analytics/Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience with business systems and processes
Organization Skills:
Strong organizational skills; detail oriented; ability to multi-task; ability to work with minimal supervision
Cross-functional skills: Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills; strong oral and written communication skills

Physical Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to temperature conditions and noise levels prevalent in an office environment. Work conditions at customer sites, which may be actively under construction, vary from indoor to outdoor industrial & electric utility facilities that may have high voltage equipment.
