Job Description
PROCESS ENGINEER
Overview Step into a highly visible, hands-on engineering role in Lancaster, PA, where your floor-level expertise directly shapes the success of a major industrial processing facility. We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, continuous material processing environment. If you prefer sitting behind a desk or working in segmented assembly operations, this role will not be a fit. We need a driven technical professional who loves being out on the production floor, working directly with operators, and optimizing the flow of continuous synthetic compound lines. This is a career-defining opportunity to take ownership of a critical production area while being rewarded exceptionally well for your impact. Core Responsibilities Drive the ongoing optimization of our continuous melt and thermal processing operations. Rely on statistical variance reduction methods and data-driven defect elimination to boost yield, reduce waste, and solve complex processing bottlenecks. Guide teams of operators and technicians to set the standard for operational excellence and foster a culture of technical mastery on the shift. Prioritize workplace protection and occupational risk mitigation by weaving strict health, safety, and environmental compliance into every procedural update you author and every project you execute. Candidate Background A strong academic foundation is required, specifically a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a closely related physical science discipline. Proven, hands-on experience on the plant floor working with continuous material flows and synthetic resin profiling, rather than batch or cellular assembly. Familiarity with processing rigid and flexible vinyl compounds is highly desirable. A natural ability to take charge of floor initiatives, mentoring production staff, and driving complex engineering projects from concept to completion without needing constant direction. Compensation Details A highly competitive base salary of $100,000 to $120,000. A performance bonus of 10% or more based on achieved metrics. A comprehensive benefits package designed to provide you with exceptional health, wellness, and financial security so you can focus on what you do best. H2Pay:
