How You'll Make an ImpactThe Engineering Intern will be asked to perform a variety of entry level technical duties as needed to assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of engineering/quality documents, and create ad hoc reports. The candidate will utilize their field of study (chemical, industrial, electrical, mechanical, civil) degree paths to bring critical-thinking skills into the role and to gain hands-on experience in the assigned internship. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Plant Manager, Quality Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Plant Engineer. How You Make an Impact Optimization of the current processes assigned by the Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Plant Engineer.

Work on enhancing operational equipment efficiency (OEE)

Create or modify standard operating procedures (SOP's)

Perform line and process audits utilizing the plants Quality Management System (QMS)

Assist in writing authorization for expenditures (AFE's)

Engage in time motion studies

Participate in various assigned facility meetings, teams, and initiatives that support the operations and quality systems.

Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion. What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent required; applicant must be a student attending classes at a university/college

Must have strong attention to detail and excellent math skills. Must be able to multi-task and willing to work in a very fast paced environment
