ABOUT THIS ROLE

This entry level position develops and coordinates with manufacturing the strategies and plans that improve productivity. Under Management supervision, implements practices and designs to reduce operating expenses, reduce work in progress, and increase production.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn to summarize, by significant categories, issue that affected manufacturing activity to Production supervisor. Learn to develop crew load/shop load plans and reports. Learn to estimated time value or standard in appropriate electronic systems. Learn to provide schedule variance figures to manufacturing and assist in Performance reports (weekly) explanations. Learn to implement cost reduction ideas (Method Improvements). Learn to provide Weekly Activity reports. Ensure visual factory information is always current. Time standards applications Schedule and cost analysis Manpower justification Manufacturing cost savings

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering strongly preferred.

IDEAL CANDIDATES ALSO HAVE

Read blueprints and understand GD&T Personal computer suite of software packages such as Excel, Word, Access, etc. Six Sigma Training Machining or Manufacturing knowledge Process Simulation Software knowledge a plus Comply with ISO, DIs and BHT SPIs, and MD Collaborate with dedicated, enthusiastic teams where differences in experiences, backgrounds, and ideas combined with a strong passion for our products to take us above and beyond flight.
