Your impact As an Entry-Level Industrial Engineer, you will support the planning and design of advanced manufacturing facilities for clients in the semiconductor, battery, solar, and high-tech manufacturing industries. Working alongside experienced engineers and designers, you will contribute to facility layout development, manufacturing equipment planning, utility demand analysis, and process optimization efforts that enable our clients to build and operate world-class production facilities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and construction professionals to develop integrated facility solutions from conceptual design through detailed engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in developing manufacturing equipment layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools. Support equipment planning activities including tool placement, spacing analysis, access requirements, and material flow evaluations. Develop and maintain equipment databases, utility matrices, and design documentation. Analyze manufacturing tool utility requirements to support facility and lateral sizing efforts. Generate reports, spreadsheets, and engineering calculations to support design decisions. Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings with internal teams and clients. Support the development of facility planning studies, capacity analyses, and manufacturing workflow evaluations. Explore and leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and digital engineering tools, to enhance engineering processes and decision-making. Apply engineering principles and industry standards to solve technical challenges and improve facility performance. Participate in periodic travel to client sites to support project execution, understand client requirements, tour existing and operational manufacturing facilities, verify field conditions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams. Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, or similar engineering design platforms. Ideally, you'll also have: Internship, co-op, research, or project experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, facility design, or process engineering. Exposure to semiconductors, battery, solar, electronics, or other advanced manufacturing industries. Extensive experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Navisworks, or other 2D/3D modeling software. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, capacity planning, or material flow analysis. Experience developing engineering calculations, databases, or data visualization tools. Familiarity with utility systems and facility infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations. Experience with VBA, Python, SQL, Power BI, or other data analysis and automation tools. Demonstrated leadership through academic projects, student organizations, or extracurricular activities. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Interest in process improvement, workflow optimization, and engineering automation. Curiosity and willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and data analytics tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities. Posted Salary Range:

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
