Job Title:
Medical Device Packaging Engineer Job Description This role will focus on addressing Design History Files (DHFs) and identifying gaps within them, working on labeling, conducting ageing studies, and optimizing packaging solutions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for protocol development, bio-compatibility assessments, and providing project management support. Responsibilities Examine and resolve any shortcomings in Design History Files (DHFs) to guarantee both compliance and thoroughness. Refine labeling workflows and carry out ageing evaluations to maintain product quality throughout its lifecycle. Partner with clients to enhance packaging approaches, making sure all regulatory and quality criteria are met. Develop and deploy standardized protocols for packaging operations to promote uniformity and dependability. Perform assessments of bio-compatibility to confirm that packaging materials are appropriate for use in medical settings. Offer assistance to project management teams to help ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. Engage with current third-party packaging vendors to collect designs and specifications, supporting the seamless transfer of these processes in-house. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Packaging Engineering. 4+ years of experience in packaging development for medical device companies. Experience with packaging designs and testing for ageing studies, protocol development, and biocompatibility. Experience collecting, packaging, and developing DHFs (Design History Files). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
