The ideal candidate will bring field experience with low-voltage cabling systems, ethernet cable certification, and the ability to safely operate aerial lift equipment in dynamic work environments.
Key Responsibilities Cabling & Infrastructure Installation:

Generate and review certification test reports, ensuring all runs meet or exceed TIA/EIA pass thresholds. Troubleshoot and remediate any cabling failures identified during testing or post-installation.
Maintenance & Support:
Assist with moves, adds, and changes (MACs) to the structured cabling plant as directed. Support network infrastructure troubleshooting efforts alongside IT and OT teams. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of cabling waste.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate as-built drawings, cable schedules, and port labeling documentation. Submit daily work logs and test result reports to the project supervisor. Update asset tracking systems with installed equipment and cable run records.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Experience:
2-5 years of hands-on experience in structured cabling installation and termination. Experience working in active manufacturing or commercial construction environments preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in terminating and testing Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A copper cabling. Familiarity with fiber optic cabling (splicing, termination, and testing) is a plus.
