Contract Pay Rate:
$60 - $70 per hour

Hybrid Role Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Video Producer to lead the creation of high-quality video content for an internal engineering audience. This role goes beyond traditional videography and requires a strong blend of creative storytelling, technical production expertise, and end-to-end ownership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Own the full lifecycle of video production: planning, recording, editing, and final delivery Set up and manage recording environments (studio or onsite) Deliver polished, production-quality content ready for internal distribution Produce and edit podcast-style and interview-based videos Work with unscripted or lightly structured formats Shape narrative flow and ensure engaging storytelling Create structured training videos and walkthroughs Collaborate with engineering teams to capture technical concepts clearly Support hybrid formats like codalongs (hands-on learning sessions) Perform advanced editing, including: Color grading Audio balancing and cleanup Scene transitions and narrative structuring Exercise strong judgment on content trimming and story cohesion Act as a producer, not just an operator Make independent decisions on content quality, pacing, and structure Continuously improve format, tooling, and production workflows
Requirements and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in video production, podcast production, or digital media Proven portfolio showcasing: Podcast or interview-style content OR Educational/training video production Strong proficiency in tools such as: Final Cut Pro or equivalent professional editing software Experience with end-to-end video production workflows Ability to work with unscripted or semi-structured content Strong storytelling and editorial judgment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience producing content for technical or engineering audiences Familiarity with video streaming or publishing platforms Basic understanding of technical topics (software, AI, cloud, etc.) Experience in academic, training, or instructional video environments Ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools in a fast-evolving media/AI landscape Bayside Solutions, Inc. is not able to sponsor any candidates at this time.
