requirements. Work with global warranty data analytics team to ensure the acquisition, analysis, and management of warranty claim data. Analyze warranty data. Identify contributors to warranty claims. Review data with cross-functional team members to address findings from claim data analysis. Manage items to timely closure and statistically validate the effectiveness of countermeasures. Prepare analyses and reporting outs for stakeholders. Serve as lead warranty contact for warranty debits. Obtain, screen, and provide disposition of warranty debits. Lead resolution of debit discrepancies. Communicate pending debits to accounting and quality departments and plant management. Reconcile debits for accuracy. Track debits against claim and part analysis for accuracy. Manage warranty part return process. Coordinate retrieval of warranty parts from the field. Ensure parts are timely analyzed. Establish and lead reviews to address findings from analyses. Manage all items to timely closure and statistically validate countermeasures. Report outs as needed for internal and customer consumption. Assist in contract review process for establishing warranty terms and conditions. Provide past data and lessons learned to assist in disposition of proposed customer warranty terms and conditions. Lead the establishment of technical factors for assigned customer portfolio. Continually monitor performance and corrective actions to continually mitigate liabilities and reduce technical factors. Ensure lessons are captured in controlled documents. Participate in design reviews for all pertinent programs.MINIMUM EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive Engineering.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Four (4) years of experience as Quality Engineer or Warranty Engineer.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The required experience must have been in the automotive or auto parts manufacturing industry.OTHER:
