Track manufacturing productivity and cost performance for the plant. Conduct times studies and process modeling on new and existing processes to improve accuracy of internal capacity and costing tools. Perform cost, labor, material, waste, and WIP analysis to determine drivers of variances and make cost improvement recommendations to plant leadership. Maintain accurate Bills of Material and routings in MRP/costing system. Work with plant leadership to identify opportunities (e.g. equipment, materials, methods, layouts) to drive higher production, quality, and cost-effective solutions. Assist plant finance team in the inventory process to ensure accurate valuation at month-end. Ensure cost standards at plant are accurate. Responsible for plant's annual manufacturing budgeting and forecasting process. Knowledge of Lean principles, Quality Control, and Six Sigma strongly preferred. Provide cross-departmental support for all aspects of Sage (development, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.) Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in industrial or systems engineering strongly preferred. 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred. Understand standard cost and job improvements. Have strong project management skills. Have strong analytical/problem solving skills. Be strongly proficient in spreadsheet and database applications. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Be comfortable presenting in front of business and manufacturing leadership.
