Job Description
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will analyze production workflows, develop innovative solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement optimized production methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Design layout plans for manufacturing facilities to maximize space utilization and workflow. Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating procedures. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions. Work cross-functionally to implement changes effectively. Conduct audits, process mapping, and data analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottle necks and areas of improvement. Implement production metrics to track performance and identify trends. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Support the implementation of new equipment and technology upgrades. Facilitate training programs for staff on new processes and procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies. Proficiency in CAD, simulation software, and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing and walking for extended periods in manufacturing facilities Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment Lifting and carrying objects up to approximately 25 pounds Good visual acuity for inspecting products and reading documents Effective verbal and written communication skills Stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasksWHAT WE OFFER
