- The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
- We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our team. This position will be based in Roebuck, SC and Spartanburg, SC.
- As our Industrial Engineer, Lean Specialist, you'll optimize manufacturing processes by blending Industrial Engineering rigor with Lean principles. You'll identify and eliminate waste, improve flow, and coach teams on problem-solving. Your role is key to driving both efficiency and cultural change.

Process Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, sequence of operation, layouts, and work methods using IE tools (e.g., time studies, line balancing) and Lean principles (e.g., VSM, 6S, Kanban, Standardized Work). +
Waste Elimination:
- Identify and remove waste (Muda) to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. +
Problem Solving:
- Lead structured problem-solving (e.g., A3 thinking) to address root causes and implement lasting improvements. +
Coaching & Training:
- Educate and coach staff on Lean concepts and problem-solving, fostering a continuous improvement mindset. +
Project Leadership:
- Manage improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring successful implementation and measurable results. +
Data Analysis:
- Use data to identify opportunities, measure performance, and recommend process enhancements. +
Safety Integration:
- Embed safety and ergonomic considerations into all process designs and improvements.

Basic Qualifications:
- + Bachelor's degree (specific engineering degree discipline can be flexible if relevant experience is present).
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related engineering field).
