WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Analyze, implement, and sustain improvements to customer and site quality through a structured problem-solving approach with emphasis on root cause analysis and use of APQP core tools.WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Motivated professional who can plan, coordinate, implement, and help to sustain improvements in manufacturing to increase productivity, optimize resources, decrease waste, and improve product quality. Collect and analyze quality data (internal and external) to support KPIs, identify trends, and segregate into actionable categories. Review manufacturing processes to identify and implement improvements. Assist the Quality Manager in managing continuous improvement activities. Coordinate problem solving activities and be able to use accurate data to drive improvement initiatives following DMAIC process. Collaborate with engineering, production, services, sales teams, and suppliers to create a clear understanding of quality requirements. Support site ISO9001 certification and maintenance through regular internal audits. Utilize APQP core tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, CPK, and Control Plans to identify risk and implement controls. Support other quality functions such as Incoming QC and Supplier Quality as needed, including direct contact with supplier quality personnel. Support new product introductions by ensuring project meets quality gate requirements at each stage of the project.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related area of study (Mechanical or Electrical preferred). 3 years of engineering, quality, or process engineering experience. Six-sigma Green or Black belt preferred. Knowledge of key manufacturing processes such as assembly, molding, metal processing, and circuit assembly is preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Able to make oral and written presentations. Be able to confidently present opinions and thoughts in a clear, unbiased manner. Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels. Strong PC skills, advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab. Able to apply knowledge of SPC/Process capability and reliability measures. Strong data analytic skills and ability to use data and DMAIC process to solve problems at the root cause.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
