Full Time/Permanent Job Description & Skill Requirement:
The customer's expectation is for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in packaging machinery and systems. The resource should be capable of: Evaluating the suitability and performance of packaging equipment, from fillers through secondary packaging. Supporting End-of-Line (EOL) systems, including palletizing operations. Coordinating and working closely with equipment vendors. Developing and finalizing technical specifications for equipment modifications and packaging/product changeovers. Providing engineering support for packaging process improvements and optimization. The Packaging Engineer should be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of developing and modifying packaging line layouts. The role will also be responsible for coordination and integration of 3D models within the overall plant design environment. While the engineer is expected to lead 3D model coordination activities, offshore support can be leveraged on a project-by-project basis for additional 3D modeling hours whenever required. Experience in reviewing layout impacts, equipment placement, utility requirements, and integration of new packaging equipment into existing production lines would be beneficial.
Preferred Industry Experience:
Food & Beverage industry Ice Cream manufacturing Hygienic/clean-process industries 5+ to 10 + yr experience will be better in above domain field.
