Operations Engineer

KP Staffing Pasadena is now hiring Operations Engineers in Baytown, TX! Job Summary The Operations engineer will support manufacturing and industrial operations through mechanical systems design, analysis, and continuous improvement efforts. This role requires applying engineering knowledge to equipment, systems, and production methodologies in an industrial setting. Pay $95,000 per year Shift 1st shift Duties Design and support mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, and gear boxes Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment to operational needs Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar for design work Analyze manufacturing and industrial processes to support operational improvements Utilize Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerBI, for reporting and analysis Participate in design thinking and problem-solving initiatives Support Lean/6 Sigma production methodology, time studies, and 5S efforts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering field 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred Understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment Mechanical systems design capability including bearings, shafts, and gear boxes Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerBI Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Strong teamwork skills and eagerness to learn from experienced engineers Knowledge of Lean/6 Sigma production methodology, time studies, and 5S preferred Job Type Direct Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Pasadena for an in-person interview.
