Job Description
Job Description Design and develop packaging materials, solutions and processes to meet product and marketing requirements, customer needs and manufacturing capabilities. Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop packaging materials, solutions and processes to meet product and marketing requirements, customer needs and manufacturing capabilities.
- Responsible for all approvals and improvements of supplier packaging during SCR
- Responsible for all approvals and improvements of Customer packaging during NPL
- Drive continuous improvement on packaging designs (cost, quality, density, stack ability) and standardization on customer & supplier side
- Standardization of sizes & variants of all packaging materials (cardboard, totes, pallets, etc.)
- Planning and review of total cost of packaging material (budget planning)
- Key contact and support for all topics regarding packaging for plant NBT
- Entry point for packaging topics for
BA, NPM PUR & SCMA
- Supplier management of packaging suppliers Develop and maintain strong working relationships across the supply chain Effectively communicate across a wide variety of internal and external customers - crisp, clear, continuous communication Systems - utilize and maintain systems (SAP, Supply On, Customer portals, etc.

Bachelor Degree in a technical discipline or related field Knowledge in packaging design or engineering Strong problem solving skills Good communication skills: verbal, written and presentations Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Physical Requirements/Work Environment- Must wear company-provided ESD safety-toed shoes, smock, and other PPE in required areas
- Sitting or standing for 8+ hours, reaching, and using hands/fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
