Cabling Full Job Description General Description:

This position will be responsible for ensuring goods and services are produced efficiently, at the correct amount, at the right cost and level of quality. As a production manager, this position is responsible for overseeing the daily production while interfacing with scheduling, sales, quality control, and quoting to maintain a seamless production environment. This position is responsible for the overall streamlining to meet best practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with production supervisors to develop training, assembly instruction and process for fiber optic drop cable assemblies
• Ensure that products are produced on time and meet quality requirements
• Report production stats to executive management daily under strong deadlines
• Planning, determining, coordinating and controlling the processes around production flow and product output, adjusting schedules as necessary to meet high volume orders
• Maintain adequately staffed and trained assembly production personnel, working closely with executive management and Human Resources to assure proper management and disciplinary processes of the team
• Representing the production department at customer and product meetings to ensure effective implementation of products to meet customer needs
• Establish productive working relationships with other teams to maintain open communication and improve overall customer satisfaction
• Coordinate production scheduling to meet customer demands, manage overtime, minimize inventory and reduce costs
• Manage inventory of materials and proactively plan and order necessary items to ensure production is not delayed
• Ensuring a strong and efficient teamwork culture exists within the production team and fellow team management departments
• Implementing project schedules and plans in a timely manner
• Directing the production team members to introduce efficiency methods
• Identifying risk mitigation actions and risks
• Mentoring and developing team members and peers
• Effectively and proactively communicate all order statuses for production on a daily basis and as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, business management/administration, industrial engineering, industrial technology or equivalent work experience in a similar environment
• Working knowledge in manufacturing processes
• Minimum 2 years production management experience
• Must be bilingual in Spanish required, Vietnamese a PLUS
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proactive attitude and willingness to grow
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
