Completions Technical Specialist II - Gulfstream Aerospace Services Corporation - 7440 Aviation Place, Dallas, TX 75235 : Guide successful completion of major engineering programs or conceive research in areas of considerable scope and complexity supporting the development and production of company products and services, particularly as related to the completions engineering of aircraft. Select appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues. Be consulted extensively by associates and others as a recognized authority within the field. Anticipate and resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways, developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities. Approach problem solving by balancing technical product, cost, and schedule. Work without appreciable direction, having work reviewed from a long-range perspective for desired results. Exercise latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments. Make decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative. Maintain a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields in order to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company product. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field required. Ten years of experience in job offered or related position in electrical wire routing design required, including any experience with: performing as an electrical lead; Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS);
CATIA V5
; Capital Logic; and with Capital XC. In lieu of a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field, Employer will accept a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field and eight years of experience, or a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field and six years of experience. Must have legal authority to work in the
U.S. EEOE.
