  • $105,000 Description Our client is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to optimize and enhance the production of advanced electrical test equipment.
As a key contributor within the operations management team, you will drive troubleshooting efforts, implement process improvements, refine production workflows, and support critical manufacturing and quality initiatives. This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited for an engineer who excels at solving problems and improving manufacturing performance. What You'll Be Doing Lead and support troubleshooting for complex electrical components, assemblies, and full-system production issues. Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across quality, safety, cost, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery. Standardize manufacturing processes and build data-driven performance metrics. Plan and execute capital investments for electrical manufacturing equipment, including requirements, sourcing, installation, and qualification. Create, update, and optimize work instructions for electrical assembly and test processes. Participate in design-for-manufacturability reviews with engineering teams for new product introductions. Develop and enhance safe work practices for mitigating hazardous electrical and industrial risks. Analyze production workflows to improve labor efficiency, material utilization, and throughput. Provide training materials and frontline support for production and assembly personnel. Collaborate with Quality to resolve product issues and drive effective corrective actions. What You Must Have Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in electrical or electromechanical manufacturing environments. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. Familiarity with SMT and through-hole manufacturing processes. Knowledge of IPC-610 and
ISO-9000
standards. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with production and assembly teams.
