IngenioRx emphasizes collaborative teamwork with clients to achieve shared objectives. Role Description This is a full time on-site Packaging Engineer role based in El Paso, TX. The Packaging Engineer will design and develop packaging solutions for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating packaging drawings and specifications, conducting material and performance testing, and supporting research and development activities to improve packaging efficiency, safety, and sustainability. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, managing packaging-related projects from concept through validation and implementation, and troubleshooting packaging issues in manufacturing and distribution. The Packaging Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, documentation, and best practices within packaging processes. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Packaging Engineering and Packaging Design, including experience with materials, structures, and packaging validation for medical devices. Candidates should possess skills in Research and Development (R D), including testing, data analysis, and application of engineering principles to innovate and optimize packaging solutions. Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning, coordinating cross-functional activities, managing timelines, and communicating project status to stakeholders. Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Engineering, including understanding of manufacturing processes, product-package interaction, and mechanical performance testing. Relevant qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; experience in medical device or regulated industries is required. Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO, FDA), proficiency with CAD tools, strong problem-solving abilities, and clear written and verbal communication. Ability to work collaboratively on-site with diverse teams, maintain organized documentation, and adapt to evolving client requirements and industry practices.
