Pay Rate:
DOE Description:
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Perform all 1st shot samples at the manufacturing plant and buy off/approve the hand-off. Program robots, build EOAT, and troubleshoot problems. Develop, optimize, and document new/improved processes in support of manufacturing. Identify, review, and recommend new technologies in support of business objectives. Develop and support continuous improvement plans. T roubleshoot complex process, tool, and machine issues. Review process validation for compliance/complete as needed, reviewing both daily and history. Review the last 24-hour Passdown and offer corrective actions for Top 3 Scrap, efficiency, and uptime. Mentor and train the process team, and improve and promote the supporting of common team goals. Support key MBR measurables. Additional ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to manufacturing/process operations, as required. Update and maintain process monitoring documents to meet production needs, as required. Participate in Launch meetings, review tool drawings, part drawings, mold flows, and DFMs as required. Initiate and participate, as needed, for internal problem solving/improvement activities. Assume ownership and provide leadership with process-related corrective actions. Support off-shift staff and support training new and current process techs (All 3 shifts on rotation). Complete tasks assigned from Fast Response. Attend cross-over meetings. Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Other duties as assigned by management.
Job RequirementsEducation/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training.
Communication:
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
Math Skills:
Ability to apply basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Computer Skills:
Proficient use of a personal computer and computer operations within a network environment.
Technical Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced engineering, modern computer techniques, and state-of-the-art plastic technology.
Work Environment:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under extreme deadline pressure.
Schedule & Travel:
Ability to support overtime during the week or weekends, and a willingness to travel to and support other manufacturing sites if needed.
