You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer for our Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team in Grand Prairie, TX, supporting assigned suppliers for the GMLRS program. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of critical components and systems, implementing rigorous quality standards to guarantee excellence. Analyze, resolve, monitor, and improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs. What You Will Be Doing; As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving supplier quality performance, identifying trends, and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and program management to resolve quality issues and improve overall quality performance, ultimately contributing to the success of the GMLRS program. Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer Managing and supporting assigned suppliers Attending program site and supplier meetings Supporting quality initiatives, activities and assignments Identifying trends, assisting in problem resolution, containing and dispositioning non-conforming hardware and supporting failure investigations Providing quality support for root cause and corrective/preventative actions Interfacing with suppliers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Product Line Teams (PLTs), production sites, customers, and program management Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures, and ISO-9001/AS9100
Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality related issues Collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, customer, supplier, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met Ensuring supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a STEM related degree from an accredited college/ university Ability to Build Effective Relationships Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance. Ability to Travel (typically around 25%- 50%; varies) Desired Skills:
Ability to Interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts Understanding of Geometric, Dimension, & Tolerancing Experience with Process Capability Analysis Lean/ Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification Experience with Quality systems such as International (ISO) and aerospace (AS) Security Clearance Statement:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position:
