Job Summary
Description:

You will be the Industrial Engineer Stf (Level 4) for the MFC Enterprise Industrial Engineering team. Our team is responsible for applying advanced analytical skills and Industrial Engineering concepts to support IAMD Production Operations Management.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Industrial Engineer Stf (Level 4) you will be responsible for driving operational excellence through advanced analysis, model development, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and maintain simulation and analytical models for production operations.
  • Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support capacity planning and forecasting for IAMD production lines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and program teams to integrate model insights.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior leadership.

  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in related discipline (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and present to multiple levels of management
  • Experience working in SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Experience working with Simio Simulation Modeling
  • Experience in performing foundational Industrial Engineering analysis at varying levels (Span Analysis, Capacity Analysis, Cost Evaluations, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain a secret security
    clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in aerospace defense industry
  • Ability to develop automated data visuals/tools that support improvement processes
  • Tableau / SQL / Python / Data Analytics experience
  • Experience with working in a manufacturing environment
Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
