Production Process Engineer - Internship (Nutrients) Kaneka Americas Holding, Inc. United States, Texas, Pasadena Sep 09, 2026
Description Key Responsibilities Monitor plant process conditions and help identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
Conduct field walkdowns to verify process conditions, equipment status, and operating practices, and the accuracy of plant P&IDs; support revisions to ensure engineering documentation remains accurate and current
Engage with operators and supervisors to understand process challenges, standard work, and deviations
Assist in troubleshooting process and equipment issues using data analysis and field observations
Support execution of small projects, plant trials, and process improvements
Participate in problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities
Assist in updating operating procedures and process documentation
Observe and support Process Safety Management (PSM) and Management of Change (MOC) activities as applicable
Present findings and recommendations at the end of the internship Qualifications
Experience
0 - 1 years: Previous internship, co-op, or manufacturing experience. (preferred)
