Description Provide technical support in areas of emulsion polymerization by learning advanced instrumentation such as FT-IR, DTA, DSC, TGA, GC, and UV spectroscopy.
Maintain GC database of all grades in MA-2 and MA-3 for rubber final, batch final latex, and dry powder every 10th lot ending in zero.
Conduct lab graft polymerization in 8L reactors safely to provide support in the optimization of MBS Grades
Develop extensive database characterizing latex properties (Maron stability, pH, latex viscosity) and powder properties (VM, ASG, powderD50)
Monitoring daily plant production by maintaining the production database, track process abnormalities and regularly analyze data to ensure optimal process performance.
Identify trends and deviations in production, and proactively suggest improvements based on data-
Ensure material additions for all grades are up-to-date, including calculations of %SC, conversion, and total batch size.
Attend daily production meeting and weekly grade separation meetings and follow-up on action items. Qualifications
Experience
1 - 2 years: Emulsion polymerization experience (preferred)
1 - 2 years: Laboratory Experience (preferred)
