Job Description Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops Operating plans and Recovery plans as needed.
- Learn and support utilization and development of models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data (e.g., statistics, operations research, trend and production impacts).
- Improves processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts.
- Develops solutions to routine technical problems.
- Collaborates cross functionally to gather data for process improvements. This may include observing, documenting processes, and collecting data in manufacturing areas or on aircraft during various production phases.
- Schedules work plans, conducts data analysis (historical, trends and production impacts), staffing and process improvements. Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Bachelors degree
- Beginner excel knowledge. Preferred Qualifications
- Aircraft / Aerospace industry experience.
- Experience with 3D Computer aided design tools such as IVT.
- Experience with Boeing standard scheduling tools such as Aurora.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
- Experience conducting/leading Time studies and reporting out to leadership. Physical Requirements
- Able to walk, stand, and enter aircraft via steps or ladders.
