GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an Industrial Engineering Analyst to support the analysis, measurement, optimization, and continuous improvement of industrial processes within a heavy manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong theoretical foundation in Industrial Engineering and a passion for operational excellence. The successful candidate will spend significant time in manufacturing facilities, observing operations, collecting and analyzing data, interviewing operators and supervisors, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, material utilization, and process performance. The role is heavily focused on the practical application of Total Productive Management (TPM) principles, industrial engineering methodologies, and data-driven decision making. 2. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed studies of production and support processes in heavy industrial operations. Observe, document, and analyze manufacturing activities across multiple departments and operational areas. Perform shop floor data collection, including process observations, work measurements, and operational assessments. Interview operators, technicians, and supervisors to understand process constraints, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain process maps, workflow analyses, and operational documentation. Define, validate, and improve time structures and labor standards for manufacturing operations. Analyze productivity, equipment utilization, process efficiency, and operational performance indicators. Identify and quantify losses associated with downtime, inefficient work methods, material waste, technological scrap, and quality-related defects. Support TPM initiatives and apply industrial engineering tools to improve operational performance. Develop recommendations and business cases for process improvements and optimization projects. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, capacity enhancement, quality improvement, and cost reduction. Utilize data analysis, simulation, and process optimization tools to evaluate alternative solutions. Prepare reports, presentations, and management summaries based on findings and recommendations. Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to implement improvements. Support the establishment of performance metrics and operational standards. 3. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field. Recent graduates and candidates with limited professional experience are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment & Travel Requirements Full-time position. Extensive and continuous presence in manufacturing facilities is required.\ Locations are diverse within USA like around the areas of Chicago (IL), Pittsburgh (PA), Louisville KY), Memphis (TN), Birmingham (AL), Houston (TX), Midland (TX), Cleveland (OH), etc. Daily or frequent observation of operations on the production floor. Ability to work across all production shifts, including occasional early morning, evening, or night shift observations, as required for operational studies. Comfortable working in heavy industrial environments and continuous-process operations. Willingness to spend significant portions of work time in production areas rather than in an office setting.
