SUMMER INTERNSHIP
Daikin offers a well-established 11-week summer internship program where students contribute to meaningful projects. JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a professional, skilled individual for the role of Industrial Engineer for our Houston, TX facility. In this role, you will be responsible for quantification and improvement of manufacturing processes, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives, processing and implementing engineering changes and introduction of new products on time and within budgets.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Review engineering changes to HVAC product designs, utilizing knowledge of mechanical engineering principles Develop and manage project schedules related to existing product launches or design modifications Process product design requests by reviewing bills of materials, drawings, and engineering change requests Develop engineering solutions to product related issues through problem solving and root cause analysis techniques Production engineering support in a high volume manufacturing environment. Able to identify the root cause of issues and implement permanent solutions Participate on cross functional teams to launch products, resolve issues, and support product improvements Assist production with product launches and issue resolution utilizing product knowledge and issuing pilot run reports Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
