Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a OSP Engineer [ W2 Contract ] This job will have the following responsibilities: Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars with the input from assigned OSP engineers
- Facilitate team meetings, providing meeting minutes and action items where needed
- Build strong communication channels with internal stakeholders in various departments: Sales, OSP Engineering (In-Franchise and Out of Franchise), Network Program Management, Operations, etc.
- Track tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports
- Responsible for tracking project changes and producing updated schedules
- Tracks budget
- Gather and report performance measurement of on-going progress.
- Ensure smooth communication within the project team and other cross-functional teams
- Interface with internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis
MUST HAVE SKILLS
- Understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) engineering and/or construction or experience in the field
- Background in project management in a field related to civil, environmental, or utility construction
- Ability to clearly articulate expectations and drive success.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Organization and the ability to multi-task is a must
- Experience with MS Office suite of apps
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio
