Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a OSP Engineer [ W2 Contract ] This job will have the following responsibilities: Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars with the input from assigned OSP engineers
  • Facilitate team meetings, providing meeting minutes and action items where needed
  • Build strong communication channels with internal stakeholders in various departments: Sales, OSP Engineering (In-Franchise and Out of Franchise), Network Program Management, Operations, etc.
  • Track tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports
  • Responsible for tracking project changes and producing updated schedules
  • Tracks budget
  • Gather and report performance measurement of on-going progress.
  • Ensure smooth communication within the project team and other cross-functional teams
  • Interface with internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis
MUST HAVE SKILLS
  • Understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) engineering and/or construction or experience in the field
  • Background in project management in a field related to civil, environmental, or utility construction
  • Ability to clearly articulate expectations and drive success.
DESIRED SKILLS
  • Organization and the ability to multi-task is a must
  • Experience with MS Office suite of apps
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Coursework in programs associated with project management, Outside Plant Engineering, and a PMPO certification a plus.
