Job Description

Job Summary

Analyze production performance and processes to support production stability, identify process improvements, and reduce non-value-added work through lean methodologies. Support production schedules, resource alignment, quality defect analysis, capacity and constraint analysis, and disruption recovery planning.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen Education & Job Requirements
  • Bachelor& 39;s degree with an emphasis in business-related curriculum such as Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Economics
  • Demonstrated skills in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals Preferred Skills
  • 1+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment
  • 1+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes
  • 1+ years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles
  • Experience developing and deploying standard processes
  • Proficiency in structured problem solving
  • Experience with capacity planning
  • Working knowledge of resource utilization
  • Experience identifying process improvements through lean methodologies
  • Familiarity with supply chain planning and logistics
  • Experience collaborating with multiple support organizations
  • Experience developing visual tools to identify performance metrics and areas of opportunity Job Duties & Functions
  • Analyze performance against daily schedules or orders.
  • Learn production processes to ensure correct sequencing and resource alignment.
  • Identify safety and ergonomic issues for reduction or elimination.
  • Evaluate quality defect trends through root cause analysis and provide recommendations to reduce or eliminate defects.
  • Recommend process improvements that reduce non-value-added work and improve cost and flow.
  • Develop disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis when required.
  • Mitigate impacts to downstream work statements and major milestones.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations.
  • Lead initiatives around production stabilization.
  • Apply Business Administration methodologies throughout the industry.
  • Support capacity planning and resource utilization activities.
  • Create visual tools to identify performance metrics and areas of opportunity. Physical Requirements & Environment
